Animals protect themselves to ensure survival of species.
There are plenty ways to protect themselves.
HOW ANIMALS PROTECT THEMSELVES?
HARD SHELL

SNAIL |
Snail on the other hand also has a tiny house on his back. Whenever an animal tries to attack it, it will hide in its shell to protect it soft body.
POISONOUS STINGS

PORCUPINE FISH Porcupine fish has ultimate defense since it has pines surrounded its whole body. Predator finds hard to eat the fish because of the pines which are hurting. |

Pangolin is an animal that possesses hard scales. The hard scales unable the predator to pierce through. Thus, whenever pangolin meets danger, it will curl up like a iron ball, unable the enemy to hurt it.

Exactly the same concept shared by millipede. Millipede will curl up whenever it meets danger. By this way, the enemy will lose interest and find hard to hurt it.
RELEASE STINK

BED BUG Bed bug is an insect which release unpleasant stink whenever it feels threatened. Enemy will feel nasty and stay away from it. |

SKUNK Skunk releases unpleasant stink and urine which makes the enemy feels awful and lose interest to attack it. Animals tend to stay away from it due to its terrible smell. CAMOUFLAGE |

TOAD Above is a toad which possesses the same skin colour as the tree bark. Enemy will mislook if they do not pay attention. The toad is like merge into the tree bark and become one part of it. |
Activity: Teacher can print out the pictures while pupils categorize according to the way the animals protect themselves.
